Hi everyone!
I am about to take my commercial checkride and have started thinking about employment opportunities going into the future. One of my dreams with aviation I’ve had since I started my PPL has been to work as pilot in some aspect in Alaska, as I love the state and used to work on a commercial fishing vessel up there for 2 years. Im wondering if anyone has any advice pertaining to seeing employment up in Alaska in aviation. I’m planning on still getting my cfi and cfii and seeking employment in my state or the continental US as an instructor so this is more of a pipe dream and something I would love to do if I find the opportunity. Any advice would be appreciated! I’m obviously focusing pretty hard on my comm checkride right now but the reality of flying up there has been popping in my head through training recently. Thanks!
