WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH!!!
Seriously if this was a white country, there would’ve been large scale protests cuz WDYM you just cut the power in the middle of a night when the city is facing one of its hottest summer nights!??
And it’s not just this. It’s the fucking trucks and trolleys moving on the very road that habitats 100s of residential societies! Everyday some truck flips or a person on a scooty dies. I mean wtaf are these situations we are living in??? All day from my flat I hear the honking of these stupid trucks. It’s been years since I got a goodnight sleep. The metro construction is NOWHERE done. It’s been a fucking decade! HOW MUCH MORE TIME DO YOU REQUIRE!??? Why tf are we, as taxpayers, okay with this hell like living conditions after probably paying so much tax?? Electricity prices are rising, data centres are now popping in Majiwada, flat prices are skyrocketing like anything for such SMALL TINY ASS rooms that are getting smaller each project.
I mean wtf are we as Indians or even Mumbaikars so sheep like and easily manipulated to be OKAY with all these things and not raise any voice at all!? Surely there is no shortage of funds or time because everyone is busy getting their nails done, attending a concert, exploring another cafe with the same mid ass food but CANNOT TAKE A SUNDAY TO MARCH IN THE CM’s OFFICE AND ASK HIM TO DEVELOP THIS GODDAMN CITY FOR ONCE AND ALL!! I mean how tf are new societies popping up left and right but the most crucial metro project is not even done? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!
And then people go “omg we have Hiranandani 😍” BRO PLEASE CALM DONE. Only like 1% of Thane look like that. Rest 99% is noise, pollution, traffic, dust and endless construction. I mean just look at how un-aesthetic this city has become. Everywhere it’s concrete ass with no planning for trees or grasses or stuff.
Genuinely, villagers paying peanuts in taxes probably have better lives than us because they might not have Zomato or zepto but they have SPACE, TREES, CLEAN AIR and PEACE OF MIND!
Maybe it’s the heat talking but this city is really stressing me out. Gone are the days when I would praise Thane. Now I wholeheartedly agree with whoever wants to shit on this stupid city and counting my days when I would leave it for good.
