Should I upgrade my monitor to 1440p with rtx 4060

Hello everyone I want to upgrade is 1440p with rtx 4060 is worth it in 2026?

Current setup:

\- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB

\- Ryzen 5 5500

\- Current monitor: Philips 22 iel 21.5" 1080p overclocked to 75Hz

\- Mostly play story games: Red Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, basically AAA and AA story games

\- I already use DLSS Quality and don’t mind tweaking settings

\- Considering ViewSonic VX27G1-2K 27 180hz for 8.5k egp or 160 usd

My main concern is next-gen games (2026+), especially VRAM and long-term performance but I planing to upgrade late 2027 /2028

For people actually using a 4060 at 1440p:

\- What FPS are you getting in newer AAA games?

\- Are you using DLSS / Frame Gen / MFG?

\- Does 8GB VRAM become annoying?

\- Any regrets moving from 1080p?

\- Would you do it again, or stay 1080p?
