Bringing food to grieving friends
A friend of mine - not super close but the kind of guy you know you can depend on - lost his mother recently. In my country I would bring a meal over and just leave it on his doorstep (so as not to disturb him) with a card. Is that normal here? Would it be appreciated or just weird?
