Hey guys my 2 cats (Cannoli and Garfield) are currently dealing with fleas, although the infestation was much worse previously it has gotten significantly better in the last 2 weeks or so. I found out they had Fleas on thanksgiving and it’s been hard to eradicate them completely.

I have vacuumed every day and have used a plethora of sprays all around my apartment, I don’t comb many fleas off the cats if any at all at this point since I’ve had them quarantined in a bathroom the last week and have given them a few doses of capstar (which makes me feel awful, I want them to be free) but I have flea traps setup and 3 have gone in it the last 48 hours I put a new sticky in on it.

I’m not sure what to do anymore I don’t want to pay a large fee for an exterminator but that’s starting to seem like the only option. I gave the cats Advantage topical the day I found the fleas and it seemed to do nothing although I applied it directly on skin.

I’m really looking for any tips I may not be doing to resolve this flea infestation.

Cannoli and Garf say thank you!!
