Hey All! Firstly, I hope this is the right subreddit.

I'm currently 35 years old, I've been a TIG Welder and fitter for about 5 years now, and also studied Cloud Administrator but realized I can't just sit down for 6-8 hours a day... I enjoyed Welding, but I want to learn something new and came across Automated Systems Electromechanic program that a trade school in my city is offering.

It's about 18 months, so I'll be around 37 when it finishes. I know I'm not old, but would future employers hesitate hiring a 37 year old once I complete my trade?

Also I'm curious to know how you guys find your careers and if you enjoy it :).
