Took a small purple potato and stuck it a little more than half way into coco coir. And watered it. And waited! Saw nothing for a very long time…but I hope this will be my first crop of tiny spuds!!! Growing indoors under grow lights…
Is it OK to grow some small crops inside of clean, empty food cans? I want to assume that if the container was OK for storing food, it would not be an issue to grow microgreens/herbs? Any thoughts?
I bought some hydrogen peroxide (3%) recently and I tested it (dripping some onto my sink and it did not fizz!) so I’m trying to find an alternative to this. Has anyone used sodium bicarbonate (diluted) to help with plant fungus? I just feel frustrated that the hydrogen peroxide I bought was a complete dud! Thanks! 😊
