Etihad Baggage Policy

We are traveling with our toddler from Vietnam to the US. But I cannot get a clear answer on if they allow you to bring an extra thing like a diaper bag or if they are more lenient with families traveling with small children. We have to pack a lot of diapers and food for him. Has anyone flown with Etihad having a toddler or a baby? How strict were they? Our trip is 30+ hours so we had to pack extra things for him which is stretching that 7kg rule to the limit.

Etihad Baggage Allowance

We are three travelers, 2 adults and an infant in seat. I have gotten conflicting information. We have two small suitcases and a backpack. Would we be allowed to bring his diaper bag, which is like a small backpack too?

Im flying out of Hanoi, which is famous for their eagerness for rule enforcement. We have almost 36 hour trip to Washington DC

Fellow Baby Travelers

Has anyone used a "Flyaway Kids Bed" on their Etihad flight? The manufacturer states they have gotten explicit approval from the airline and there is anecdotal evidence online but I am curious if anyone has experience with this.

Marathon Flight

I’ve got a marathon journey with our toddler coming up. I’m curious about those of you recently flying between Abu Dhabi and the United States how full your flights have been?

We’re going from Hanoi to Abu Dhabi and then from Abu Dhabi to Washington DC this Thursday and Friday (May14-15).

With other carriers cutting routes to the gulf do you think flights have been more or less full recently?
