I currently work for a Non Profit doing case management. Unfortunately it’s looking like we might lose funding and layoffs could be approaching. DFPS is hiring for Investigation, Conservatorship and Permanency Specialists in my area, and I’m considering applying. I only have a BSW so it’s some of the best pay I could probably make with my current degree. I was about to start applying for grad school to get my MSW and become licensed. Would this still be feasible working at DFPS? Will they help pay for school at all?
