Hey y'all, so I'm in need of retaking calc 3 again for summer, and I've narrowed my choices down to 2 different professors. The first is Cathy Ferrer, who's only doing online this semester and seems to be the better of the two of them.

The other is Alessandro Spadoni, who is doing online as well, but has 2 in person classes for Monday-Thursday. Spadoni is also highly rated, but seems to have less reviews on him compared to Cathy.

Although Cathy is rated higher, her reviews have a slight trend where those who had negative experiences seem to have many agreeing with them, whereas Spadoni has more normal reviews. Also, although online classes are more convenient rn, I tend to learn better in-person, but that 4 day class schedule, combined with my 1 hour drive back and forth make it hard to stomach. So, I'm trying to get some insight as to who exactly is better.

Hey y'all, so I'm at a bit of a dilemma for my choices when it comes to deciding on what to do for Calc 3. Essentially, I ended up failing my Calc 3 class for the Spring semester (I fucked up an easy class), and now, I have to retake it again for the summer semester. Normally, I'd choose in-person, but, for this semester, my community college decided to do things very differently.

Currently, most engineering classes got pushed back to only last about 8 weeks now instead of 12, so Calc 3 is now 4 classes a week instead of 2, each lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes. This is somewhat off-putting to me as the campus for the professor I'm choosing is about 1 hour away, meaning my commute for the weeks that I take the class would amount to 8 hours in total driving back and forth on the highway. Now, for my spring semester, I did about half that time for classes, and my gas bill and time were already strained, and I fear that doing this for summer is gonna hit me harder.

Thankfully, this professor does offer this class online. But this is where my concerns come in. I used to do math online, and it absolutely fucked with my remembrance on certain math subjects. My 1st every failed class was Calc 2 online, so I've always been hesitant since then to take math online again.

But the commute and new schedules for our classes this semester are absolutely horrid compared to before, so I'm at a standstill. This will be the only class I take for summer, so I essentially have full dedication towards it (besides my 2 jobs), but my weak math skills make my decisions quite hard I won't lie. So, I've come here to hopefully get some advice from y'all who have way more experience at this than I do.
