Dairy? Are we really importing DAIRY from such a far away country just to protect Indian farmers when we have one of the best dairies in the world?

Did Luxon not go through before signing this? It’s looking like all the things mentioned in this deal are only in favour of India.

  1. Full duty free exports for Indian goods.

But New Zealand doesn’t get that.

  1. Exporting DAIRY without liberalisation from India just to “protect Indian local farmers” is the most ridiculous thing this govt has ever signed into. What about New Zealand’s dairy sector that’ll face competition because of this?

  2. New Zealand would do better if the govt invested its citizen’s tax money of 20 billion dollars to fix its own problems first and not in other countries.

(Only benefits the ultra wealthy investors)

  1. Nz already struggles with unemployment and housing crisis. But sure, let’s bring in more and more international workers to replace us and make the market more and more competitive.

This ONLY benefits the wealthy business owners who wish to get their work done paying cheaper wages to migrants.
