One of the things that has been an on going frustration for me is the war in Rhir between the Blighted Kingdom and the demons but no real cause for it shown.
I'm a little ways into vol 9, and there doesn't seem to be a reason in sight so far, but I know I'm still far behind the current point. But it has become annoying to me, because at this point, so far in to the story, with the war being such a major backdrop piece, that everyone conveniently avoiding saying why makes it stick out even more. At least the whole >!gods!< thing had some hinting and suggestion that there was something else going on. Any description of a war, what is the first question you are likely to ask?
I found a thread from a year ago asking the same question, but there wasn't any explanation there either. I wondered if there has been any revelation since then.
