So I'm setting off on the Eire Canal trail this week and just became aware that technically the locks don't open for camping until next month (May). Does anyone know if I will be turned away this time of year? Also, what the likelihood of unwarted attention if I wild camp on remote sections of the trail between towns and away from houses?
