Our growth marketing team is three people. We run paid social, email, and content simultaneously and the creative bottleneck is real. Some weeks we need twelve to fifteen new ad creatives. Other weeks it is event graphics, a webinar deck, and a new lead magnet PDF.

We cannot hire fast enough to keep up with the volume and freelancers have been unpredictable on deadlines. The quality is also inconsistent because nobody is building accumulated knowledge of our brand. I keep hearing about design subscription services where you get an assigned creative who handles all your requests on an ongoing basis. The pitch is that they function like an outsourced in-house designer because they work on your brand exclusively rather than juggling ten clients.

What I want to understand from people who have actually used this model is whether the quality holds up at volume and whether the turnaround is genuinely fast enough for a team running live campaigns. Also curious whether anyone has compared this to a part-time contractor on a fixed monthly arrangement.

What is your current setup for handling highvolume design output on a small team?
