First thing I noticed, my work bench was too small. No big deal, got that fixed up. Setup was shockingly simple, but I did have a weird issue where the ACE wouldn't feed filament until I manually fed some without it first. After I got that fixed I decided I wanted to throw the printer into the deep end and loaded some of the ASA I'd bought but had some real issues using with the Centauri Carbon.
It handled the ASA with ease. Like I fully expected it to fail and have to be dialed in but outside of some minor stringing which I know is just a sign I need to dial it in, it printed the part with complete ease. I think it handled the ASA better than my CC handled PLA.
The next thing I noticed is that people undersold just how quiet the machine is. I like the sound of printers personally, I find the little mechanical whooshes oddly soothing. But it's quiet enough that even in the same room it blends into the background quiet easily.
Lastly, first layer test was great. Overall I'm quite happy so far.
