First time visiting Toronto this summer. Looking for some recommendations!
Driving up from Buffalo and visiting Toronto for the first time this summer. We’re heading to the Noah Kahan concert, and we figured it’s the perfect excuse to turn the trip into a long weekend and finally explore a city I’ve spent years looking at from across Lake Ontario!
I’d love recommendations on best areas to stay, neighborhoods to explore, great restaurants, and any tips for getting to and from the concert.
What we’re into:
• Walkable neighborhoods with character (cafés, shops, street life)
• Food (Indian, Thai, sushi, plus other good local/international spots)
• Waterfront walks, parks, and easy outdoor time
• Cultural spots (museums, galleries, or interesting local experiences)
• Casual exploring, wandering different areas without a strict itinerary
What we’re not looking for:
• Overly touristy or hyped attractions that aren’t actually worth the time
• Gimmicky experiences
Open to all suggestions for making the most of a first visit to Toronto.
