Property registration help
My family has book a flat with kalpatru. It was decided that the stamp duty will be paid by the builder, I also have a receipt sent by them that I have to pay ₹0 stamp duty.
I was told to inform 30 days prior for registration of the property. I mailed them in February.
Now it’s almost May and I have not received any information regarding registration. I called their customer service and they are saying that they have paid the stamp duty to the government but the receipt/challan is not generated yet although they have paid it. Now they are filing for refund and they that it can only be paid again if refund is processed.
I am new to real estate with such a big builder. Is this something I should be concerned about ? It’s not a scam or fraud right ? I have all the receipts of the paid instalments and all the correct information on their website. Should I just wait ?
