Current state of my eyelids

A little update since my last post about my left crease disappearing after around 6 years after non-incisional DES. I had a few in person consultations consultations and I honestly feel even more conflicted now 😭

Most clinics I consulted with actually recommended switching to incisional for the revision, mainly because the left side already loosened once and they think it would hold better long term. But interestingly, two clinics told me that I could still do non-incisional again together with (ptosis correction), which is honestly what I would prefer if possible.

I attached a current photo because I’d really appreciate honest opinions from people who’ve gone through revisions or just generally know a lot about DES. My main concern is the left side, the crease still catches sometimes but it feels unstable, especially toward the front/inner part. It almost feels like it’s trying to disappear again if that makes sense. I’m also worried because I really don’t want a thick or overly dramatic line. I actually liked my original result for years before the left side started loosening.

I do understand that incisional is the safer choice for longevity, but part of me is scared of ending up with a line that feels too heavy or obvious for my face. I honestly just want my eyes to look balanced and natural again, not super done.

Would genuinely appreciate honest thoughts, especially from anyone who had a revision DES

Hello! I’ve been lurking on this sub for a bit now, but this is my first time posting here.

I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery around 6 years ago, and it held up pretty well for a while. But recently the crease on my left side has basically disappeared, while the right side is still fine.

Now I’m considering getting a revision, but I’m not sure if I should go non-incisional again or switch to incisional this time. I don’t even know if it’s possible to get non-incisional again…
I was also wondering if it's possible to get a revision only on one side.

If anyone’s gone through something similar, I’d love to hear what you ended up doing and how you chose your surgeon the second time around. Anything you’d recommend paying more attention to the second time around when making a decision?
