Hello,

I’m a beginner potter and hoping to get some feedback and thoughts on this cylinder I threw last night, specifically regarding the width of the walls. I’m practicing my consistency with basics - centering, pulling walls, etc. I haven’t fired anything yet so I’m having a hard time imaging what the outcome will look like.

This is the tallest cylinder I’ve ever pulled and on my last pull, it got thin in one area. Do you think this one spot is too thin/will break/crack? How thick should a wall be anyways? I have a needle tool beside it for reference. I threw 2lbs and was hoping to make a travel mug with this.

Thanks in advance!
