Building a carbon-aware AI compute platform from Berlin. looking for feedback & intros
I’ve spent the last few years building a cloud infrastructure startup focused on something I think is becoming a major issue for AI:
Compute is getting more expensive, more energy constrained, and more operationally complex.
Most companies still deploy workloads statically, even though energy prices, carbon intensity, and hardware availability change constantly across regions. Agentic compute brings new challenges.
We built GreenPow to experiment with a different approach:
a distributed compute platform that routes workloads dynamically across infrastructure based on cost, energy mix, and operational efficiency.
In practice, that means:
- lower compute costs,
- lower operational overhead,
- and measurable emissions reduction through carbon-aware scheduling.
We’re currently closed 2025 wird ~$500K ARR LATAM + EU, and we’ve been testing hybrid/private cloud deployments for AI workloads, APIs, and enterprise infrastructure. Ready to scale.
I’m based between Berlin and LATAM and currently looking to connect with:
- angels,
- operators,
- infra people,
- sustainability-focused investors,
- or anyone thinking deeply about AI + energy infrastructure.
Even if you’re not investing, I’d genuinely appreciate feedback, criticism, or intros to people working in this space.
Curious whether others here think distributed / Grid and carbon-aware compute becomes more important over the next 3–5 years as AI demand keeps scaling.
