Hey guys! I just got top surgery yesterday, and I definitely dreamt while under anesthesia. I don’t remember what the dream was specifically about, but I know my sister was there in it. That’s one of the first things I did when I woke up was ask the nurse if it was normal to dream, because I did not expect that or even know it was possible. Come to find out something like 20% of people report dreaming while under anesthesia. I thought it would just be me being put to sleep and then in the blink of an eye I’m awake again, but I woke up feeling like at least some time had passed because of the dream. It could be something to do with me being a redhead, I’ve heard we don’t tend to take to anesthesia very well, or if they had me wake up naturally it could’ve been that too. I’m not sure if they did though. Anyway, like I said super interesting and unexpected! I thought it might be cool to know if any of you guys experienced anything similar.
