Road trip with EV vehicle
I’ve been looking at rental cars for Norway and it seems like basically every option is an EV. I’m trying to figure out how much of a pain in the ass this is actually going to be.
My main concern isn’t really driving it, it’s the charging logistics. Like… how hard is it to find chargers at hotels or Airbnbs? Is this something where I’m going to need to constantly plan routes and charging stops ahead of time?
I’ve never owned or driven an electric car before, so I’m trying to avoid turning the trip into a full-time battery management exercise. Norway seems super EV-friendly, but I can’t tell if that means “easy once you know what you’re doing” or “stressful for first-timers.”
Just wondering realistically how much extra planning this adds to a road trip there.
