Is regenerative medicine actually repairing tissue or just helping symptoms?

I’ve been trying to understand this better and keep running into mixed explanations. Some sources describe it as supporting actual tissue repair, while others frame it more as improving function and reducing inflammation. I’m guessing the truth is somewhere in between, but it’s not very clear how much of each is actually happening.

It also seems like different providers approach it differently, which probably adds to the confusion.

If anyone here has a clearer understanding of how this works in practice, I’d really appreciate the insight.

I’ve had my Lectric XP 3.0 for about 14 months now and recently started having this really frustrating issue where the battery just cuts out randomly while riding. It’s not consistent either which makes it hard to diagnose. Sometimes I can go 15 miles no problem, other times it dies after 3 miles, shows zero bars, then comes back to life 30 seconds later showing half charge.

What I’ve tried so far:

• Checked all connections at the battery mount they’re tight and clean

• Cleaned the contact points with electrical cleaner

• Tried a different charger thinking maybe it wasn’t fully charging same issue

• Checked the display for error codes nothing shows up

• Let the battery fully discharge and recharged to recalibrate didn’t help

The battery is still under warranty technically but Lectric’s support has been super slow to respond. I opened a ticket 11 days ago and just got an automated reply. My buddy who builds custom bikes suggested it might be a BMS issue inside the battery pack itself but I’m hesitant to crack it open and void whatever warranty coverage I might have left.

I’ve been looking into whether I should just buy a replacement battery or if there’s electric bike spare parts that might solve this without replacing the whole unit. I saw someone in a forum mention they sourced a compatible BMS from Aliba but that seems risky and I don’t really have the technical skills to swap internal components.

Has anyone else dealt with this specific issue on a Lectric? Is this a known problem with their batteries after a year of use? I commute daily on this thing so it’s pretty critical that I get it sorted. Any advice would be appreciated before I drop $500 on a new battery.
