Was very excited for the attachment the moment I saw what it does, did some testing at first and thought it felt better, but had no clear idea why. Took some video, messed around in video editing software and here's what I discovered. It doesn't change how your reticle moves, however it changes the recoil animation of the gun - notably it seems to kick towards you less. More testing showed me that the effect is even more pronounced when using ironsights, and should probably be most notable on sights with a tight sight housing.

The test was on an SVDM with the 2.5x optic. Not every gun can equip it.
