Everything I bought at Maui's Costco + Thoughts

Everything I bought at Maui's Costco + Thoughts

Maui Costco Snacks Haul

Beverages & Coffee

  1. Waiakea Water ($15.79) - I never realized water could taste good until trying this, recommend
  2. Maui Wines Blanc Pineapple Wine ($13.59) - like alcoholic pineapple juice, would not recommend
  3. Kauai Peaberry Coffee Beans ($39.99) - cheapest I've seen for 1lb of peaberry beans
  4. Kauai Coffee Beans ($38.59) - 1.5lbs, have not tested these out

Food

  1. Dole Pineapple ($5.99) - from Honolulu, look for a ripe one, ate it 3 days later and was plenty sweet
  2. Pork Lau Laus ($27.69) - Six pre-cooked lau laus and you just have to steam them. Great for breakfast or pack it for a picnic
  3. King's Hawaiian Ube Rolls ($7.29) - got drawn into the limited edition flavor, the flavor worked and makes for an easy breakfast snack
  4. Ahi Sashimi ($28.99/lb) - found a pale pink pack amongst the deep red ones so had to grab it, would recommend

Snacks

  1. Honey roasted macadamia nuts ($16.99) and whole macadamia nuts ($16.99) - made for great gifts
  2. Island Princess Mele Macs ($16.79) - Good souvenirs as they're twice the size as the ones in ABC store and around the same price
  3. Beika Mochi Teriyaki ($10.59) - These are like huge umami pretzel sticks that were slightly addictive
  4. Ono Shrimp Chips ($12.49) - Even larger and well sprinkled with furikake, also addictive
  5. Island Princess Pineapple Lychee Candy ($7.29) - Positive flavor combination
  6. Furikake Party Mix ($16.99) - used as a souvenir
  7. Ahi Sakura Boshi ($16.49) - still waiting to dig into this!
  8. Hawaiian Host Strawberries & Creme White Chocolatey Covered Macadamia Nuts ($14.99) - tad too sweet for me and melts quickly under the Hawaiian heat

Given this is usually the first stop after landing in Maui, I may have gone overboard! What do you think I missed / what do you also get?
