I’m curious how much real world time I am losing on just the equipment and if it’s worth upgrading yet.

I’m currently riding a 2015 cyclocross bike with clip on bars and slick tyres (Genesis Vapour CX20) in a normal road helmet just training on RPE and HR from a watch whilst coaching myself.

Doing Standard & Middle Distance, current benchmark this year is a 30m13s sprint bike and a 1h1m30s Standard bike leg.

If I should make changes or purchases there is a maximum budget of £1000
