Coming down to the final 2.5 weeks of my prep for first (official) half marathon. I’m technically in my taper as of Monday, but missed a long run on Sunday (longest run remaining with specific pace targets similar to what I plan on race day) and was going to do it today but I’m curious if this will throw off my taper?
Very much new to a structured plan (I was the guy who would run full out every time I went for a run and wondered why I wasn’t getting results I wanted) so I don’t really know if/how this would impact the taper.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
