Hi everyone, consider this post as a suggestion for people like me who are just starting in the world of microscopy.

I have been struggling with creating thin sections of plant elements, but I found out that mosses have pseudo-leaves that can be one cell thick, so dont require special attention in slide creation, the pictures have been taken after simply taking a small leaf from the moss without any slicing needed.

Magnification 40x to 60x circa, photos taken with my phone. Microscope is a really basic Bresser

Neotinea ustulata, neotinea tridentata, Anacamptis morio, Platanthera chlorantha, Cephalanthera damasonium.

Found in Udine, Italy in a "Permanent meadow", a plot of land that is left untouched if not for a periodic trimming which is made every 1 to 2 years to let wild grassy species flourish.
