I completed a four year formal apprenticeship in Australia as a plumber, attaining a certificate III in Plumbing. I successfully challenged the Plumbing Red Seal exam in BC last year. Since I can’t get an ECA for a trade certificate, does anyone know if having the Plumbing Red Seal is viewed by IRCC as a four year post secondary education? I have researched extensively on IRCC’s website and submitted multiple webforms but have not been given a direct answer.
