Hi there,

I bought a salad kit a few days ago and I think it expires on the 17th of may (I don’t remember, I split it up into 2 containers) and I had some yesterday and it was fine, had some chicken in it etc. it had quite a bit of oxidation which I understand it’s safe as long as there’s no signs of spoilage etc but I don’t find it appetizing. I took a few bites of lettuce with oxidation and it was fine but then I took a bite of chicken and there was slimy stuff attached to the chicken I just had in my mouth attached to a piece of lettuce and now I’m worried that’s going to make me sick… has that happened to anyone? I went out to get a salad from a restaurant across the street from where I work. I’m so scared.
