A few months ago, my friend and I were in a serious accident when a drunk auto rickshaw driver crashed into us from behind. We were badly injured and spent months recovering in the hospital. Even now, we’re still healing physically and emotionally from that night.

Thankfully, after months of recovery, we’re both doing much better and slowly trying to step back into normal life again.

Her birthday is coming up, and I want to do something meaningful for her. Since autos now remind her of that trauma, I thought of turning that fear into a happy memory by surprising her with a safe & joyful auto rickshaw ride around the city.

I still remember her once saying how much she loves auto rides, and joking that she’d love to have her pictures all over one as the Bollywood ke heroines do. It sounded so random and funny at the time, but I never forgot it! Now I’d love to make it happen for real.

They say to laugh in the places that once made you cry, so here I am trying.

I’m looking for:

1. A kind and responsible auto driver who follows traffic rules, drives safely, and would be okay with letting me decorate the auto with her posters for a day so she feels special and comfortable. We'll discuss the pay for it all. I don't know how much is ideal, but please share your opinions.

2. Suggestions for places in the city where I can take her for a wholesome and memorable ride. Mandir toh ek fix hai.

3. Opinions and ideas from everyone here (especially the girls on this sub) on how I can make her day even more fun and thoughtful for her.
