I went to a jewelry tore this weekend to try on engagement rings, and I kept overhearing people (and even one of the sales associates) talk about certain cuts being the most expensive like it's something everyone just knows already.
It got me really curious, what actually makes one cut more expensive than another? Is it because some cuts waste more of the original stone, or because they sparkle more, or is it just hype and demand?
