I have been to Penang once (stayed at the Eastern and Oriental in Georgetown) and Singapore a few times and so I am looking at going end of year (from around 29 December for 10 days or so) to Kuala Lumpur (I am thinking of staying at Traders over NYE for a view of the Petronas tours but am open to suggestions of other good places to stay) and would like some ideas of maybe two other spots to stay that would be relatively easy to get to from KL and am thinking - but again, open to suggestions - one beachy spot and one maybe nature/safari style place so we can really take in a good diversity of things!
We're definitely capable of good amounts of walking and taking in sights but also would like the trip to have a chill vibe.
Any ideas on itineraries and places to see/stay/eat are welcome!
Any suggestions for best view of the Petronas Towers for NYE (if not the Traders Hotel) would be great, too.
