I have AP Psychology on my schedule next year and i’m wondering if i should take drop it. I’m currently a junior in high school and i signed up for AP Psychology hoping to get academic honors because we need 2 APs for academic honors. I won’t be able to get honors since I need a math higher than Alg 2. So I was thinking about just dropping AP Psychology since I can’t get honors and i plan on going to an esthetician school, not a college. So i don’t really have a reason to take the class. But i heard it’s one of the easiest AP’s and apparently there’s a no drop policy but some classmates are saying I can still drop it since it’s next school year but i’d have to have a meeting with the AP coordinator and my parents which sounds like a bit of a hassle. I was hoping to lighten my load for next year and get a job or should I just keep it and toughen it out?I had a rough sophomore year but i’ve been doing pretty good this year. If I do take AP Phsyc what should i prepare myself for as someone who has never took an AP class.
