Hey everyone, I was looking into the IT Network Administrator diploma at Saskatoon Business College (SBC) and wanted to hear from people who either took it recently or graduated a couple years ago.
How was the program overall?
Did it actually help you get into IT or find a job afterwards?
I’ve also heard mixed reviews about SBC in general. Some people say the instructors and staff don’t really care much and that the courses feel rushed. I heard some classes are only about 1 month long, which confused me a bit.
How do the classes actually work there?
Is it very fast-paced or manageable?
Also, for anyone who attended:
Were you able to get full government student funding/loans and grants for the program?
Since it’s only a 1-year diploma and some classes are so short, how does that work with government approval and full-time study requirements?
Does the workload still feel equivalent to a full diploma program?
I’d appreciate honest experiences, both good and bad. Thanks!
