I recently moved here and I’m looking for a vet. Preferably one that isn’t in the big chains (I can’t recall the exact name but I know they own nearly all the vets).

I need someone who is deeply compassionate and attentive to animals. My dog has had bad experiences in the past so vets aren’t her favourite. However we had one in TO that was amazing and treated her like a princess. She was always happy to go there and that’s what I want.

I don’t care about the money but I do get frustrated when they constantly are either ignoring the issues or just focused on increasing the bill. Money isn’t an issue but I don’t like being taken advantage of.

Any rec’s for vets that you would endorse.
