Wondering if anyone is on IOG and their powerwall exports battery to the grid before the off-peak period kicks in.
My system only charges from the grid during the off-peak period. I often have about 90% before the off-grid kicks in so plenty to export to the grid. I've had to manually manipulate the tariff to encourage export.
Part of the selling point for a powerwall for me was the AI functionality that handles energy arbitrage.
Did my installer do something wrong? I have a solar compatible ev charger. However whenever I try to charge in the Eco+ mode, it powerwall assumes that the load is from the house then discharges solar and battery. My understanding is that it should only use the excess solar when the house doesn't need much load and powerwall 3 is full. I think the issue is that Powerwall can't differentiate between the ev charger and the house. Is this normal behaviour? I can only see one CT clamp in the wiring.
I got response on other sub, just to run it through here again before I meet with the installer this week. He isn't convinced he's done anything wrong.
