The internet focuses so much on red flags, so I’m curious about green flags.

For me:
respecting boundaries without acting offended
not forcing conversation
being kind to service staff (big one)

I love this city but sometimes it feels weirdly hard to make real connections outside work.

Would genuinely love advice from women who’ve managed to build a nice social circle here.

I'll go first:
My mom told me when I was going through a painful breakup years ago, "Never cry for someone who wouldn't shed a tear for you." And it genuinely made me realize that it was time to move on. <3

Could be a place, a habit, an app, a route, or even something small you always do.

Trying to build a little thread of things that actually help, especially for those of us who are new to the city or still figuring it out.

For me, it’s:

• sharing my live location to my partner/family member when I’m in a cab
• sticking to well-lit areas at night
• and honestly… trusting my gut when something feels off
