There's plenty of content available showing people adding auxiliary heating lamps (Philips, RubyLux, Therabulb) to their IR saunas for more heat and higher temps. But I'm interested to hear from people who have wired-in and installed additional IR heating panels instead of heating lamps. I know there's different heating panel options via Amazon at different price points and power output levels (150W, 250W, 350W) I'd like to know specifically which panels you chose, why you chose them, and how you wired them in. Did you wire them into the sauna's controller using C-14 style plugs? Did you wire them to a separate plug that you can control independently from the original sauna heaters? Did you route the power cords through the walls, or are they visible inside the cabin? Any and all specific details are of interest to me. Please be as granular as possible, and please include any links and pics that you can. Thank you.
