**Stats:** 40F. * **Hgb:** 10.6 (as of last week). * **Ferritin:** 6 (critically low). * **Cardiac:** RHR is stable while flat, but **skyrockets to 105+ BPM** with any movement. Multiple ER visits for tachycardia and near fainting. * **Symptoms:** "pulsatile tinnitus, chronic headache, shortness of breath with minimal activity, and FATIGUE. **Obstacles:** * **GI:** Confirmed **EoE**. I cannot absorb oral iron and my esophagus is currently healing from biopsies. * **Meds:** Failed BC (anxiety), IUD (pain), and avoiding TXA due to GI/EoE inflammation. **The Situation:** My APRN just escalated me to an "interventional" MD consult this Monday. Is it normal to be fast-tracked with "mild" Hgb if the Ferritin is this low and symptoms are this bad? **Am I a real candidate for a hysterectomy at this point?** Looking for similar experiences. I have been dismissed by many doctors (at the last ER visit after I nearly fainted, I was told to move slow). But I feel that this can't be normal, so I need to know if Advocating for surgery is my best option. Best!!
