Melbourne trans friendly hairdressers to deal with frizzy damaged wavy hair 😓

Admittedly I’ve neglected my hair for a long time, but at this point I need to fix something and I don’t think I’ll be able to without seeing a professional.

Does anyone know any good hairdressers in or around Melbourne that are experienced with dealing with damaged and wavy hair? I got my hair bleached from a place on the strands for trans resources two years ago and they completely fried it. By this point most of the bleached highlights have grown out a lot, but my hair is feels like dried straw all over, frizzes up badly, and is covered in split ends.

I’m not really sure where else to ask as my last two haircuts went horrible, with the last one frying my hair completely and the one before cutting everything off to short back & sides against my wishes… so I’m really desperate for places that other trans woman with long wavy hair have been to and had good experience with.

I’ve been looking to get some headphones due to sensory issues I suffer from (not being able to isolate or drown out sounds), but every pair of headphones I’ve ever worn has given me severe headaches originating from inside of the ear drum. I’ve read that this might be due to a sensitivity to the pressure caused by sound waves vibrating but I’m not entire sure on what the actual cause is.

Does anyone else experience this, and if so have you been able to find a pair that doesn’t cause it? I need to catch public transit a lot so having every single sound of a busy train inside and out bombarded into my ears at once is incredibly overwhelming, but having severe headaches constantly isn’t exactly going to be any better and it’s not like I can just test a pair for long enough before committing to buying it 😭

Any time I try to look into this all I see are unrelated issues such as pain on the sides of the head and top of the head, or someone else with the same issue as me who ultimately got no replies that helped, so any help at all is much appreciated

I'm trying to change my name and sex with Rest super and they're wanting a change of name certificate, which is a document that literally does not exist in the state of Victoria. I am aware of the pdf version you can get emailed at request; however this form does not have the registration and cerficiate form numbers they require, and after two failed attemps of guessing what they want they now want me to get a copy of the authentic document stamped and signed by a registered person.

I'm really not sure what to do here other than hoping a pharmacist will stamp a printed copy of a PDF form which feels like a stretch to me. Any others in Victoria who have Rest super how did you manage to change your name/sex with them? and what steps did you need to take to do so?

How realistic is it to hope to get SRS done within Australia? From what I can tell almost everyone goes to Thailand to get theirs done, but I have a severe nut allergy so doing so could easily end up killing me :/

If I wanted to get the surgery done within Australia how difficult is it and how much would it likely end up costing all up? Of if that isn’t realistic are there any viable options people often go to for English speaking countries where food allergies with language barriers isn’t going to be an issue? Are there any ways too to cover the fees without just having that money saved up out of pocket? Numbers I’ve seen seem to be around 30k on the low end and imagining having that sort of money feels impossible…

Really wanting any advice possible as right now it honestly just feels completely hopeless :(
