I have developed PF since I got pregnant, which is now 2 years ago. I was only diagnosed half a year ago by my general practitioner (no MRI or ultrasound was done) and I go to a physiotherapist once a week for it, which helps for like a day or two. He stretches and massages the area, and I also have to do tennis ball exercises in the morning and evening.
I have insoles made by a podiatrist and wear supportive shoes outside and Crocs recovery slippers inside. I stretch in the morning and before going to bed, but the pain is constant about 80% of the time.
My toddler doesn’t understand that I can’t hop around or stay on my feet for too long since she's small and my husband doesn’t really understand the daily pain I go through.
At work I can sit more, so the pain is less, but on the days I’m home I sometimes just want to crawl into a corner and cry.
So to the parents on here with PF, how do you deal with all of this? Do you have any tips to get through the most painful days? Any other tips are also welcome.
