First post here! My company was recently acquired and in the transition, I’ve received a new offer letter. I received a title increase to AVP and I’m now eligible for both bonus and equity. My role is in operations and supporting the day-to-day business. I am not a people manager. I currently work remote with a clause to relocate within 2 years.
My main questions:
There’s no definitive bonus or equity amount or range. What is considered average or acceptable in this industry?
Any advice for equity? Company seems to be on track to go public over the next several years. Anything special I should do or try to negotiate?
My family was planning on relocating within the next 3-5 years so I’m not terrified of the relocation clause. Anything I should be prepared for here?
