Hi All, would love to hear some recent perspectives on spending your first year in London? I’m having concerns that if I don’t like it there, and I could also have the disadvantage of not having my first year in NY and making friends. I feel friendships would be established by the time I come back as a Sophomore.

I got deferred at BU, and then rejected. It was heartbreaking because BU is the only school I felt to be a fit and lived the vibe. I was left with NYU as my only option, with a first year in London. Although I know NYU is a great school, I’m from NY and really do not live the NYU vibe.
Just commiserating and venting here… :(
