Hello everyone, I have an Onkyo NR686 AV receiver and I’m having a problem calibrating my speakers. Every time I run the speaker calibration, the distance for my left front speaker is shown as 0.03 m and for the right front speaker 1.14 m, even though both are actually about 3.20 m away from the microphone.

I’ve already tried three different microphones and also completely reset the receiver, but nothing helps. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

I’m currently very undecided. I have a gaming PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, an Intel Core i7-11700K, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and a 2TB NVMe SSD. I only use the PC on my TV like a console, but Windows keeps causing problems, and I’m really just looking for an experience similar to a PlayStation or Xbox — but with my PC because of my Steam library.

Is there any actually usable solution to turn my PC into a console-like experience? I also have a Dolby Atmos surround system, so that shouldn’t be an issue either.

I recently bought my first 5.1.2 system, the Teufel Ultima 40 5.1, and unfortunately I’m not 100% satisfied with the center speaker. I wanted to ask whether it would be a sound-quality issue if I replaced the center speaker, for example with the Teufel Theater 500 Center, or if you have any other suggestions for a matching center speaker.

Hello guys, I have a question. I currently have a Teufel Ultima 5.1 system, and my room is set up so that my bed is in the middle, with the surround speakers placed to the left and right of it. This means the rear speakers are only about 1 meter away from my head. Unfortunately, I can’t place them in the corners because there’s a window on one side. Is this a problem, or is the placement still okay? Thank you very much!
