Web searches have produced two conflicting sets of composers' names. The only thing I know about the song is, it was performed by Johnny McAfee with Harry James' Orchestra during a September 30, 1945 radio broadcast from Casino Gardens in Southern California. The vinyl's label and jacket credit the title as being, "Listen, Listen," but that may be based solely on the opening lyrics to the song.
One search says the composers were Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van Heusen, but I tend to suspect that's not correct. The other search gives composing credit to Benny Carter and Spencer Lee. It's the same type of haunting melody as was the 1934 song, "The House Is Haunted (By The Echo Of Your Last Goodbye)."
Lyrics begin: "Listen, listen, who's at my door, is it someone I'm waiting for, somehow I know it's only the wind that says you're gone, Listen, Listen, out of the [blue/gloom?], breeze comes steeling into my room, kindling my sorry until tomorrow dawn comes on."
