My previous post raising my concerns was removed by mods without a reason. I do not know if i have broken any rules, I was accused of being a bot and also there were some politically motivated responses.
Can I repost my initial post again if I havnt broken any rules?
A bit of a rant sorry.
This venue for Calderdale is the jewel in the crown.
Gigs in the summer are great however the events on at othertimes show a real lack of imagination.
The fact that this trust loses money is beyond belief. Not only does it lose money it gets £250k a year of calderdale tax payers monies.
Last years accounts show an income from events of £480k, surprised that is low? I am.
You may be more surprised that the trust pays out £1.8 million for events!
The trust has just said they are going to close the restaurant they run, people made redundant etc.. terrible.
The trust pay nearly £5 million in wages a year.
Over £800k is wages for 3 people.
Income £8,297,000
Outgoings £10,019,000
A huge gap.
Make your own opinions but as a local tax payer I am not a happy camper at this poor management.
