Found a pair of these modest British speakers from the 80s in my dad's stash. I just installed them in a spare room with a Pioneer A-221 integrated amp and a Philips CD480, both from the 80s as well. I must say it sounds surprisingly great! These are my first speakers which have that "british sound", warm lows, soft highs which are still very detailed. It's a joy listen to.
