Had an accident at work and a sharp object wound up going straight through the toe of my Docs (my foot’s fine).
It’s sadly gone all the way through the leather - I’ve since learned that I should really have been treating the leather regularly so that the leather doesn’t weaken, and I’ve bought some gear to do that going forward, but of course I’d like to do something about the damage if possible.
I’ve taken it to Timpson’s and they say they can’t do anything about the upper part of the shoe (only the soles apparently) - any advice would be appreciated, even if it’s just a suboptimal DIY fix I’d just rather not have the hole there!
Thanks all x
