Hi all, wondering if anyone can tell me how child allowance works (the 140e per child a month) after a split? I know historically it was for the mother to have her own money but now is it split between parents? Scenario will be 60/40 custody. If a small amount of child maintenance is paid, would the child allowance amount be deducted out of what's owed?
